T. Lively and Kristi grew up in different states.  T. Lively was born in California, and raised in Dayton, Ohio, along with his older sister, who used to bully him and put him in scissor holds with her strong dancing legs.  Kristi (Hogg) was born and raised in Aberdeen, SD - the “City Without Limits!” – the second of five children.  Her older sister had a penchant for bullying, too, and would pin she and her siblings to the floor, shaking her long blond hair in their faces until they’d “give”.  Despite the “bullying”, T. Lively and Kristi both enjoyed their childhoods, and they both dreamed dreams.  T. Lively of drawing pictures one day, and Kristi of being a geologist after she fell in love with the best Christmas present ever… a rock shiner.
 
T. Lively hated math (still does) and spent his time drawing pictures in math class.  An accountant he would never be.  After high school, he went to Art Institute of Pittsburgh and majored in illustration.  From there he moved to New York City to prove himself as a budding artist at Gem Studio.  
 
Kristi attended Colorado State University and majored in technical journalism with a zoology minor.  Her rock dreams had morphed into a love of writing and marine mammals, leading her to an internship in Hawaii as a dolphin trainer at a marine mammal laboratory.     Next Page
